Hugo Arturi was born in Madrid, Spain and was raised between New York City and Buenos Aires. He studied Jazz & Contemporary Music at the New School for Social Research while learning photography on his own. At the New School University Hugo nourished his interest in social research and political science while also taking photographs. He went on to assist many of today's most important global photographers before starting his own photography career.

Hugo shoots Fashion, Beauty, and Portraiture and feels very much at home both on location and in the studio. His work utilizes it’s surroundings and incorporates them into the image through thoughtful composition and lighting.
